The included battery doesn't "seat" all the way against the contacts in the included "spare battery charger slot." You have to "slide" it over to the contacts. I may have to use a folded business card and stick it in the other end so that the battery stays in place.Blue LED is obnoxiously bright and the light stays on all the time. Charges my Sprint HTC Touch just fine.
I have not purchased this item, but was giving it strong consideration. I emailed the company to find out if the battery was compatible with my HTC phone because although mine looks like the pictured phone, the model # on the battery is different than the one they listed. Their response was: "Please review the auction description carefully to make sure that your model is listed." Well, obviously I'd done that, otherwise I wouldn't be asking the question. There is NO compatibility listing in their description, so how am I to know.Too bad - they lost a sale.
Good for charging batteries outside of the phone and charging the phone at the same time. May be related to not being listed for the Sprint Touch (non-gsm) phone when I made my purchase but I could only get it to be recognized by the computer once and that wasn't long enough to synch. I kind of like it though because all I've got to do to synch is use the usb cord and I've got a choice of being able to synch batteries and the unit at the same time without having to have Outlook running with ActiveSynch.
I do indeed like. Took a minute to realize that the connector in the base would fit the odd shapped USB connector in the phone, and it even works with the silicone condom I bought for the touch. The bundle gave me a third battery for the Touch.
Red for charging and green for charged. The other light I can understand.
You cant beat the price for this 3 in 1 bundle. I really like this charger.
It is extremely bright. You get a spare battery, a USB cable and the cradle, to sync and charge at the same time.
The only thing I don't like and really don't see the need for, is the bright blue light on the cradle. It functions as an indicator to let you know the status of your charge.
Otherwise, this product functions as expected.
